Adecco is currently seeking an experienced Leading Hand Scaffolder to join our client's growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated scaffolding skilled who enjoys leading crews, maintaining high safety standards, and delivering quality outcomes across a variety of projects.

This role will commence on a casual basis, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent position for the right candidate.

About Us

As a Leading Hand Scaffolder you will supervise scaffold crews on site, ensuring scaffolding is erected, modified, and dismantled safely, efficiently and in accordance with Australian Standards.

You will provide day-to-day leadership, coordinate site activities, and promote a strong safety culture while delivering exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise scaffolders and labourers on site
- Allocate tasks and coordinate daily site activities
- Ensure all scaffold work is completed safely and in accordance with Australian Standards
- Conduct pre-start meetings and enforce WHS procedures, PPE requirements, and SWMS compliance
- Coordinate labour, transport, and material requirements
- Complete scaffold inspections, tagging, and handover documentation
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
- Liaise professionally with supervisors, clients, contractors, and other trades
- Mentor and develop team members to build capability and promote a positive team culture




- Promote and uphold company values and safety expectations at all times

Your Profile To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Advanced Scaffolding Licence
- Construction White Card
- Forklift Licence highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and scaffolding regulations
- Experience supervising scaffold crews and leading site activities
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and project specifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable work ethic and skilled attitude.

Travel Requirements This position requires flexibility to travel to project sites throughout the region.

Applicants must be willing to travel and stay away overnight when required.

Competitive casual rate of $45.54 per hour
