About the Role
As a Learning Support Educator, you’ll work hands‑on within small, predictable classrooms to help neurodivergent students access, engage in and enjoy their learning. Working closely with teachers and therapists, you will:
- Support structured, predictable learning routines
- Help implement individualised learning plans
- Embed therapy recommendations into daily practice
- Support communication, emotional regulation and transitions
- Use co‑regulation strategies, visual supports and sensory tools
- Build safe, trusting relationships with students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists and families
- Contribute observations that shape personalised learning pathways
- Prepare resources and adjustments to support student needs

What We’re Looking For
- Certificate III or IV in Learning Support (or equivalent), or currently undertaking a teaching or allied health degree
- A strengths‑based, neurodiversity‑affirming mindset
- Strong relational and communication skills
- Confidence supporting individualised plans, visual supports & sensory regulation
- A calm, predictable, emotionally regulated presence
- Openness to coaching, reflective practice & professional learning
- Reliability, professionalism & alignment with KIN’s values
- Experience in a school environment
- A valid Working with Children Check
