We are seeking an experiencedEstimator to join the team at DGH - based in Townsville.

n

As a full-time Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed estimates.

What you'll be doing n

n
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for site and fabrication SMP (Structural, Mechanical, Piping) work scopes
n
- Reviewing project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to identify all required materials, labour, and equipment
n
- Collaborating with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure estimates are comprehensive
n
- Providing support during the tendering and bidding process
n
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
n

What we're looking for nn
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estimator
n




- Trade or tertiary qualification in engineering
n
- Proficient in the use of estimating software and tools
n
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
n
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
n
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite Word, Excel and Project
n
- Experience with CAD programs
n
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
n
- High attention to detail and time management
n
