Menard Oceania is a design and construct specialist geotechnical contractor offering expertise in ground improvement and reinforcement for sites with poor soils. Its treatments eliminate the need for the deep foundations traditionally used to support surface structures. Our scope includes small to large infrastructure-based solutions across a broad range of market segments for private and public stakeholders, including Transport, Dams, Ports and Coastal Infrastructure, Industrial and Commercial Buildings, Heavy Industry and Mining.

Your Role n

The Intern drafting Assistant will support the senior drafting & design engineers in the preparation, modification, and coordination of civil, structural and geotechnical engineering drawings and documentation. This position provides an opportunity to develop technical drafting expertise and engineering knowledge while working within a collaborative project team.

Skills and Qualifications n

n
- Basic knowledge of engineering drawing standards and principles.
n
- Basic proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience is advantageous.
n
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
n
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
n




- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Training & Development n

On-the-Job Training and Development

n

The role provides structured on-the-job training and mentoring from experienced Senior Draft’s person and the Design Manager. The successful candidate will receive hands-on guidance in engineering drafting practices, project delivery processes, and the application of industry standards across civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering disciplines.

Remuneration will be competitive with current market rates, depending on qualifications and experience.
