We are working a global resources company to help them find a junior to mid-level legal counsel to join their in-house team on secondment for an initial 6 month term.

About the Role

Working closely with several internal teams, you will assist with general commercial, front- end work on a broad range of procurement, infrastructure, mining and commercial matters.

This is a hands-on role suited to a junior or mid-level lawyer who is commercially minded, has solid drafting skills for their level, is keen to learn and enjoys working across multiple matters and teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial contracts and service agreements
- Providing commercially focused legal advice to operational stakeholders and internal teams
- Assist with managing external counsel where required

About You

- 3-6 PQE
- Solid commercial and front-end skill set - ideally coming from a front-end practice group at a reputable firm. Previous in-house experience within resources would be very desirable but not required.
