About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate hospitality candidate to become the General Manager / Licensee at Hotel Rockdale.

You will be responsible for managing all facets of the venues including but not limited to:

· Operations – completing all daily and weekly operational tasks as required by Head Office to maintain a profitable venue.

· Compliance - monitor all regulations including licensing so all requirements are met.

· Customer Service – maintaining a high level of customer service is provided, and all feedback is addressed to ensure a great experience is had by our patrons.

· Staff – Recruit, train, supervise and troubleshoot all staffing matters.





· Marketing – working closely with our Marketing Manager to develop and implement promotional strategies that increase sales and attract recent customers.

This position will report directly to the owner.

About You

· At least 3 to 4 years management experience and a strong knowledge in all aspects of running a busy Hotel.

· The ability to hold a hotelier’s licence.

· Current RSA and RCG certificates.

· A hands-on approach to management and operations with the Hotel.

· Extensive knowledge of operating a Top 200 gaming venue with proven results.

· Ability to communicate effectively with staff.

· Ability to operate and manage a Stock Management system.

· An understanding of hotel related technology systems.

· Organised, motivated and customer focused.
