Matic Group is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Light Vehicle Driver to join our Pickup & Delivery Regional (PUDR) team. This is a hands-on driving role involving the pickup and delivery of equipment and materials across regional locations. The role will also involve load restraint, vehicle inspections, delivery documentation and general yard duties as required.

About the Role
As a Light Vehicle Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely pickup, transportation and delivery of equipment and materials. The role involves a combination of driving and practical duties, including loading and unloading, securing loads, completing delivery documentation and assisting with yard activities when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport and deliver equipment and materials
- Complete routine vehicle and equipment inspections and report defects or maintenance requirements
- Check vehicle condition and fuel levels prior to transporting goods
- Secure loads using authorised load restraint equipment, including straps, cargo barriers and nets
- Complete proof of delivery records accurately using tablets/devices and authorised systems
- Keep vehicles,
cabs and associated equipment clean, maintained and safe to operate
- Follow all company safety procedures and requirements
- Follow appropriate procedures when transporting dangerous goods
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company and accreditation requirements
- Complete required training and maintain competency
- Assist with loading and unloading and general yard duties as required

- Holds a current and appropriate driver's licence for the vehicles they will operate
- Has a strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Is reliable, punctual and well organised
- Can complete paperwork and electronic records accurately
- Takes pride in maintaining vehicles and equipment
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Has a professional and customer-focused approach
- Is willing to assist with general yard duties when required
