About the role

Health Personnel Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Locum Radiographer to join our medical imaging team on a contract basis. This is a temporary position based in Regional WA, dates are 9/11-31/1.

As a Locum Radiographer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiographic services to patients whilst maintaining the highest standards of patient care, safety and diagnostic accuracy.

What you'll be doing

- Performing a wide range of radiographic examinations using digital imaging technology and equipment
- Positioning patients appropriately to obtain optimal diagnostic images whilst minimising radiation exposure
- Operating and maintaining radiographic equipment in compliance with safety standards and protocols
- Adhering strictly to radiation protection principles and legal requirements.
- Communicating effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and reassurance throughout procedures
- Ensuring accurate documentation and labelling of radiographic images and patient records
- Collaborating with radiologists, clinicians and other healthcare professionals to support diagnostic outcomes
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment and adhering to infection control protocols
- Contributing to quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives within the imaging department

What we're looking for

- Current AHPRA Registration
- Proven experience working as a radiographer in a hospital setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in CT, in particular Philips CT scanner.
- Ability to work out of hours/ on call/ weekend/ Christmas
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and demonstrated commitment to radiation protection
- Excellent patient communication skills and ability to work compassionately with patients of all ages




- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- High level of organisational skills and attention to detail
- Professional approach to confidentiality and patient privacy in accordance with relevant legislation
- Current immunisations and satisfactory background clearance (as required by the employer)
