Workfast is seeking reliable Machine Operators to join a leading Steel manufacturing and distribution company.

Pay Rate: $40.00p/h + Penalties + Super

Hours: Dayshift – Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:00pm / Afternoon – Mon-Fri 2:00pm-10:00pm

Start Date: Immediate Start – Pending Successful Medical

This is a outstanding opportunity for reliable and safety-focused candidates looking for ongoing work, with full training provided and the potential for a permanent position for the right person.

You’ll be working as part of a busy production team, operating steel processing machinery and gantry cranes used to cut, bend, shape and process reinforcing steel products.

What You'll Be Doing

- Operating steel processing and reinforcing machinery
- Operating gantry cranes
- Cutting, bending and shaping reinforcing steel
- Completing repetitive manual handling tasks of up to 10kg
- Performing basic quality checks
- Following all WHS and safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work area
- Working collaboratively as part of a production team

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience in machine operation, manufacturing or production is highly regarded
- Gantry crane experience is desirable
- Basic MIG welding experience is advantageous but not essential




- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual handling
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Safety-focused and willing to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Full Australian working rights
