Job Description

We are looking for a Monitoring Consultant with strong expertise in Splunk, Dynatrace, APM, alerting, and synthetic monitoring . The role will work closely with application teams to understand monitoring needs, build dashboards and alerts, and provide guidance on effective monitoring practices.

Key responsibilities n

- Engage with application teams to understand monitoring requirements and assist with onboarding.
n
- Design and develop operational dashboards in Splunk and Dynatrace.
n
- Configure and maintain alerts based on application and infrastructure requirements. Reduce alert noise by refining alert logic and escalation criteria.
n
- Define thresholds, anomaly detection rules, and notification channels.
n
- Develop Splunk searches, reports, and queries.
n
- Provide education session to the squads to enable them to use these dashboards and alerts effectively.

Skills required nn
- Strong SPL query development skills.
n




- Experience configuring alerts and reports.
n
- Experience with Application Performance Monitoring (APM).
n
- Can provide consultation to teams on synthetic monitoring aspects.
