The Victorian State Sport Centres Trust (SSCT) operates and maintains over $1 billion assets including four of Australia’s largest multi-sport venues, the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC), the State Netball and Hockey Centre (SNHC), Lakeside Stadium incorporating the State Athletics Centre, and Knox Regional Sports Park including the State Basketball Centre (SBC).
Unlike other major international standard venues that host sport and entertainment events, SSCT venues also provide access for users at all levels, from elite and professional athletes to school and community participants 7 days per week, up to 16 hours a day.

About the role:

We're looking for a People & Culture Operations Lead to lead the delivery of productive, compliant and employee-focused People & Culture services across SSCT. This newly created role will be the operational backbone of the P&C; function, ensuring our systems, processes and workforce services run smoothly while continuously identifying opportunities to improve how we support our people.

Reporting to the People Partnering & Services Manager, you'll oversee workforce administration, employee lifecycle processes, service delivery, reporting and compliance. You'll also take ownership of our P&C; Hub and self-service experience, helping leaders and employees access the information and support they need, when they need it.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys improving processes, solving problems,



leveraging technology and using workforce data to drive better outcomes. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, lead workforce system enhancements and support operational change initiatives while mentoring and developing the P&C; Coordinator.

About You:

You're an experienced People & Culture professional who understands that operational excellence is the foundation of a great employee experience. You bring strong expertise in workforce administration, compliance and employee lifecycle management, along with a passion for continuous improvement and service delivery.

You'll be comfortable analysing workforce data, improving processes and partnering with stakeholders to deliver practical solutions. Most importantly, you'll be a proactive and collaborative leader who enjoys creating efficiencies and helping others succeed.

Required skills and Qualifications:

- Experience leading HR operations, workforce administration or shared services functions
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, compliance and workforce administration practices
- Experience driving process improvement and service optimisation initiatives
- Strong HRIS and workforce systems capability (Dayforce experience highly regarded)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead and develop team members
- Relevant tertiary qualification
