StrathAyr has a proud 50-year history of providing premium natural turf solutions for residential homes, public spaces and sporting venues. With a dedicated fleet servicing regional and metropolitan Victoria, we’re looking for a motivated and reliable Truck Driver / Farm Hand to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on role that will see you delivering turf to our customers across Victoria, while also getting stuck into farm duties when required.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Truck Driver / Farm Hand, your role will include:

- Safely operating StrathAyr's delivery trucks to transport turf to customers across regional and metropolitan Victoria
- Providing professional and friendly service to customers at delivery locations
- Loading, unloading and handling turf products
- Completing deliveries efficiently and in line with company requirements
- Carrying out general farm duties as required
- Assisting with turf production, harvesting and general farm activities as required
- Operating farm and/or turf-handling equipment where required
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment
- Working as part of a hardworking and supportive team
- Assisting with other duties across the business as required

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, practical,



with a high level of customer skills and happy to get stuck into whatever the day brings.

Requirements include:

- HR and or HC
- Previous experience in truck driving, deliveries, farming or a similar hands-on setting
- A strong focus on safety and compliance
- Good communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently while also being a team player
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- A willingness to work outdoors and undertake physical, hands-on work
- Previous experience operating a Moffett truck-mounted forklift, multi-combination vehicles, farm machinery or working in turf/agriculture would be advantageous.
