JK are excited to be partnering with a local plant and equipment hire business with a well-established presence. We are looking for a skilled Forklift Operator / Yard Hand to join the team at our client’s Ballarat-based site.

Key Responsibilities:

- Load, unload and move equipment, materials and stock safely around the yard using forklifts and other machinery
- Prepare customer orders, assist with dispatch activities and ensure products are ready for collection or delivery
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe yard environment, including general housekeeping and equipment checks
- Assist customers and drivers with pickups
- Conduct routine stock control tasks, including receiving, storing and relocating inventory

Requirements:

- LF Forklift license, with proven prior experience
- Prior experience in stores/yard hand roles highly beneficial
- Ability to follow process and protocols on safety standards
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Strong work ethic and dedication
- Mechanical mindset preferred however not required
