Backam Group is currently seeking experienced Machine Operators and Overhead Crane Operators to join a leading manufacturer within the wire and steel products industry.

These positions offer ongoing opportunities across Morning & Afternoon shift with immediate starts available for the right candidates.

Location: Ingleburn

Start Date: Immediate Start Available

Shifts Available:

- Morning Shift 6am-2pm $38ph
- Afternoon shift - 2pm-10pm $43.70ph

Employment Type: Casual, Temp to perm opportunities You will be working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, operating machinery, cutting and bending steel and wire products, and contributing to a safe and productive workplace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Machine Operators

- Operating shearers and benders that cut and bend steel
- Monitoring production processes and quality standards
- Operating overhead cranes
- Conducting basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area

ABOUT YOU You are reliable, safety-focused,



and thrive in a heavy steel manufacturing environment.

To be considered, you will have:

✔ Previous machine operating experience within manufacturing or production environments

✔ Overhead crane experience (Advantageous)

✔ Strong commitment to workplace health and safety

✔ Ability to work rotating shifts if required

✔ Good communication skills and attention to detail

✔ Reliable transport and current driver's licence preferred

✔ Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
