Machine Operator / Factory Hand – Forklift Licence Essential

Day & Afternoon Shifts Available | $33.05 – $38 per hour | Casual

Our client is a leading manufacturer of moulded plastic containers supplied to the food, cosmetics and medical industries. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous factory or machine operating experience who also holds a current Forklift Licence.

About the Role

You will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing and packaging process, operating machinery and ensuring products are produced safely and to the required quality standards.

Shifts available:

- Day Shift: 7:00am – 3:00pm
- Afternoon Shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm
- Initial training will be completed on day shift
- Saturday and/or Sunday overtime available
- Casual position with potential for ongoing/permanent opportunities

Key Responsibilities

- Operate manufacturing and injection moulding machinery
- Monitor machinery and production processes
- Pack and prepare finished products
- Conduct quality control checks
- Weigh products and complete quality assessments
- Stack cartons and pallets
- Operate a forklift as required (minimal)




- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow all workplace health, safety and hygiene procedures

About You To be successful, you will have:

- Previous factory, manufacturing or machine operating experience
- Current Forklift Licence – essential
- Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
- Robust attention to detail and quality
- Good literacy and communication skills
- Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks
- Ability to follow procedures and safety requirements
- Reliable transport and reliable attendance
- A strong work ethic and willingness to contribute to a team

Previous experience in food manufacturing, plastics, packaging or production will be highly regarded.
