We're looking for experienced Maintenance Electricians and Mechanical Fitters to join a busy manufacturing site in Kurri Kurri.
This is a hands-on role where you'll help keep machinery and equipment running, carry out preventative maintenance and attend to breakdowns when they happen.
Mechanical Fitter
We're looking for someone with experience in a manufacturing environment and a good all-round maintenance background.
You'll be involved in
- Preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
- Mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting
- General maintenance of plant and machinery
- Supporting production and keeping equipment running
- Working with the maintenance and production teams
- Helping identify and fix ongoing maintenance issues
What we're looking for:
- Mechanical Trade Certificate
- 3-4+ years' manufacturing experience
- Solid maintenance and breakdown experience
- Good mechanical and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit and comfortable in a hands-on environment
- Good attitude and ability to work as part of a team
There is also an opportunity to mentor and support an adult 3rd-year apprentice fitter, so someone who enjoys passing on their knowledge would be a bonus.
Maintenance Electrician
You'll be responsible for electrical maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repairs across the manufacturing site.
You'll need:
- Electrical Trade Certificate
- 3-4+ years' manufacturing experience
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience with automated machinery and PLCs
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Positive safety awareness and problem-solving skills
