We’re growing our Maintenance team at our Bathurst sawmill and have multiple full-time opportunities for experienced tradespeople to join our site-based maintenance team.

Working across a weekly rotating day and afternoon shift roster, you’ll play a hands-on role in keeping our production plant running safely and reliably. You’ll work across planned and preventative maintenance, breakdown response and reliability improvements, while also gaining exposure to ongoing capital upgrades and new equipment installations.

With a broad range of fixed plant and continued investment across the site, this is an opportunity to put your trade skills to work while continuing to build your experience in a busy industrial environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Maintenance Fitter, you’ll:

- Deliver high-quality mechanical maintenance and breakdown repair services
- Minimise downtime through proactive and preventative maintenance
- Support continuous improvement activities and equipment reliability
- Maintain tools,



equipment and work areas to a safe and organised standard
- Work closely with production and maintenance colleagues to achieve shared outcomes

What We’re Looking For

You’ll be successful if you have:

- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent)
- Solid experience with hydraulics and pneumatics (essential)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience (timber industry skills highly regarded but not essential)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A practical approach to problem-solving and prioritising work
