Join our Grounds and Maintenance team and help maintain a safe, functional and welcoming setting for our school community.

As our Maintenance Officer, you will undertake a variety of building and facility maintenance tasks across the campus, including repairs, preventative maintenance, project support and general operational duties. You will work closely with the Head of Grounds and Maintenance to ensure school facilities are maintained to a high standard.

In addition to maintenance responsibilities, you will assist with grounds duties as required, supporting the presentation and operation of the School's outdoor spaces and facilities.

About You

You are practical, reliable and proactive, with experience in maintenance, construction, property maintenance or a related field. You enjoy solving problems, take pride in your work and can work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Requirements

- Current Queensland Driver Licence
- Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or ability to obtain one
- First Aid and CPR qualification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to undertake physical work
- Legal right to work in Australia





Desirable

- Trade qualification or maintenance experience
- Working at Heights certification
- LR Driver Licence
- Relevant machinery, plant or trade licences
