Maintenance Supervisor – Island Resort

Live and work on one of Western Australia’s most iconic islands.

We are looking for a practical, hands-on and reliable Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and support the day-to-day maintenance of our island-based hotel operations.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in keeping facilities running smoothly, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced hospitality environment where no two days are quite the same.

The Role

As our Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate the ongoing maintenance requirements across the property, helping ensure our guest areas, accommodation, equipment and facilities are secure, functional and well presented.

Working closely with hotel leadership and operational departments, you will take ownership of maintenance priorities, coordinate contractors where required and provide hands-on support across the property.

Your responsibilities will include

- Coordinating and completing preventative and reactive maintenance

- Responding to maintenance requests across guest rooms, public areas and operational facilities

- Identifying maintenance issues and prioritising repairs

- Supervising maintenance activities and supporting other team members as required

- Coordinating external contractors and trades

- Conducting routine inspections of buildings, equipment and facilities

- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and preventative maintenance schedules

- Supporting WHS, compliance and emergency maintenance requirements

- Monitoring tools, equipment, supplies and spare parts

- Working collaboratively with Housekeeping, Front Office,



Food & Beverage and other operational departments

- Ensuring maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard

About You

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, solutions focused and comfortable taking ownership.

You will ideally have

- Previous maintenance, facilities or property experience, preferably within hotels, resorts, accommodation or hospitality

- Experience supervising or coordinating maintenance activities

- Strong general maintenance and handyman skills

- Good knowledge of preventative maintenance practices
- The ability to diagnose problems and find practical solutions

- Strong organisational and time-management skills

- Confidence working independently and prioritising competing maintenance requests
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety

- Good communication skills and the ability to work with different departments and contractors
- A current Australian driver's licence

- Relevant trade qualifications or technical experience will be highly regarded
