We are currently seeking an organised and detail-focused Maintenance Workshop Store Person to join our Engineering team.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role is responsible for managing the maintenance workshop spare parts store, ensuring parts, components and consumables are received, stored, issued and recorded accurately, with critical items available when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage maintenance spare parts inventory, ensuring accuracy and availability of critical items.

- Receive, inspect and store incoming goods in line with company procedures.

- Issue parts to maintenance technicians and accurately record stock movements.

- Conduct routine stocktakes and cycle counts, investigate discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.

- Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requisitions for low-stock or critical spare parts.





- Source and follow up critical spare parts and components from existing and new suppliers to meet inventory targets, reduce lead times and support maintenance and production requirements.

- Liaise with Maintenance, Procurement and suppliers to ensure the efficient and timely supply of parts, including urgent requests.

- Maintain a clean, well-organised and safe storeroom, with parts clearly identified and appropriately stored.

- Follow safety procedures, including requirements for the handling and storage of hazardous materials.

- Update inventory records using ERP systems, including SAP, and maintain accurate documentation for all stock movements.

About You

You will have strong attention to detail, good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy maintenance environment. You will enjoy working collaboratively with maintenance, production, Procurement and suppliers, and be comfortable responding to urgent requirements. You will bring:

- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or maintenance environment. Manufacturing or industrial experience is advantageous.

- Previous experience using SAP is essential.

- Strong attention to detail and positive organisational skills.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Basic knowledge of maintenance spare parts is highly desirable.

- Basic understanding of inventory control processes, including stocktakes and stock movements.

- Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to urgent requests.

- A current forklift licence is desirable, where required for site duties.
