:

We are currently seeking a compassionate, motivated and reliable Male support workers to join our team on a Casual basis. This role involves providing high-quality support to disability participants in Albury Area.

Reporting to the Management (Operation Team), you will be required to appropriately support participants with their needs and to reach their goals.

Essential Criteria :

- Male applicant, in line with participant's specific preference/request
- Australian Background, in line with participant's specific request/needs
- Fluent English Speaker, to meet participant's communication needs
- Certificate 3 in Disability Support, Aged Care or Individual Support (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of Experience in supporting clients with various disability and challenging behaviors
- Strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and professionalism (punctuality and commitment to supporting the needs of our client)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team

Have a valid :

- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- (Australian) Driver Licence & Car Insurance
- First Aid Certificate & CPR
- Visa/VEVO (the right to work in Australia)
- National Police Check

- Experience in Person-Centred Care:



Must demonstrate a solid understanding of person-centred care principles, including how it is applied in everyday situations.
- Conflict Management Skills: Ability to manage difficult situations calmly and effectively, ensuring the participant feels supported; (experience in working with clients with behavioural issues).
- Identification and Reporting of Concerns: Must be proactive in identifying issues or changes in the participant’s condition and reporting them appropriately.
- Clear and direct communication is essential to ensure understanding and comfort.
- Language Proficiency: A strong grasp of the English language for effective communication and understanding of the participant’s needs and values.
- Uphold all NDIS code of conducts and standard practices and follow organizational policies.
- Promote a positive, respectful and inclusive setting.

Job Type: Casual Pay: From $38.00 per hour
