RCR Mining Technologies is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our Finance team based at our Bunbury Head Office.

About the Role

This role combines strong technical accounting expertise with commercial acumen to provide financial insights that support operational and strategic decision-making across the business. Working closely with operational and commercial stakeholders, you will lead key financial processes, support business performance, ensure compliance with accounting standards and governance requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

A key aspect of this role is the ability to interpret and apply Australian Accounting Standards while balancing operational and commercial outcomes. You will communicate financial and governance requirements to non-financial stakeholders, translating complex accounting concepts into practical business advice that supports informed decision-making.

What You'll Be Doing

- Partner with operational leaders to deliver financial reporting, analysis, insights,



and recommendations that support informed business decisions.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, month-end reporting, and performance review processes across assigned portfolios.
- Identify profitability drivers, business risks, and opportunities to improve financial and operational performance.
- Provide financial and commercial support for strategic decision-making, including financial modelling, business case development, scenario analysis, tenders, pricing reviews, and contract management activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial controls, and governance requirements while balancing operational and commercial needs.
- Communicate accounting requirements and financial impacts to operational stakeholders in a clear and practical manner.
- Support audit activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial investigations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, reporting, and controls.
- Provide leadership and development support to the Cost Controller.
- Contribute to ad hoc projects and other activities as required to support business objectives.

What You'll Bring

Essential

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- CPA or CA qualification or currently working towards completion.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in management accounting, commercial finance, financial analysis, or finance business partnering roles.
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, performance management, and business analysis.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify risks, opportunities, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Advanced financial modelling, business case development,



and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards, financial governance, and internal controls.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management skills, with the ability to explain technical accounting concepts and translate financial information into practical business insights for non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven ability to influence decision-making, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

- Postgraduate qualification in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience within mining, manufacturing and resources sector.
- Experience supporting contract management, tenders, pricing reviews, and commercial agreements.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O;) or similar ERP systems.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
