Long-term nanny for 2 year old boy – Kingsgrove n

We are a warm, close-knit family of three based in Kingsgrove. We are both medical doctors and have a happy, curious son, who has just turned 2.

We are looking for an experienced, long-term career nanny to become a trusted and valued part of our family life.

Essential Requirements n

n
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in nannying or formal childcare settings
n
- Current First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis qualifications
n
- Valid Working with Children Check
n
- National Police Check
n
- Up-to-date immunisations (including whooping cough and influenza)
n
- At least two professional childcare-related references
n
- Current Australian driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle to get to work (no need to drive our son during the day)
n

Welcomed but not essential nn
- Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher, Diploma/Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or nursing/allied health background
n
- Flexibility or interest in additional hours on an ad hoc basis
n

Day-to-day responsibilities include nn




- Planning and providing screen-free activities such as reading, musical play, sensory activities, arts and crafts, and walks or park outings in our local area
n
- Supporting mealtimes (we will provide pre-prepared meals) and naptimes, maintaining a calm and consistent daily routine
n
- Light child-related housework — keeping play areas tidy, child’s laundry, loading the dishwasher
n
- Communicating openly with us throughout the day
n

Schedule & Start Date nn
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 7:00 am – 6:00 pm (33 hours per week)
n
- Starting ASAP but willing to wait for the right candidate
n
- We are happy to settle you into the role gradually, so you feel supported as you become familiar with our home, the local area and our son’s routine
n

What We Offer nn
- $40–$45 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
n
