Senior Health & Safety Advisor - North Shore

A progressive property development and construction company, this Sydney-based business is known for delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use projects.

With a growing portfolio across co-living, student accommodation and build-to-rent developments, they are now looking for an experienced HSE Advisor to join the team and support a number of high-end projects across Sydney.
n
You'll be working closely with one of Australia's highly regarded HSE Managers, giving you the prospect to be part of a growing business and play a key role in developing their HSE function.
n
This is something a little different in the Sydney market - an opportunity to be part of something recent, exciting and growing from the ground up.

Responsibilities:
n
n
Provide day-to-day HSE support across active construction projects
n
Build strong relationships with employees, subcontractors and key stakeholders
n
Manage and develop HSE processes and initiatives across projects
n




Assist with incident investigations, reporting and corrective actions
n
Provide guidance and support around HSE legislation and compliance
n
Maintain a strong understanding of Australian Standards and applicable legislation
n
Promote a positive and proactive HSE culture across the project
n
n
About You:
n
n
Minimum Cert IV in WHS/OH&S;
n
3+ years' experience in an HSE role within the Class 2 / residential construction space
n
Commercial new build experience will also be considered
n
Previous experience working for a head contractor is essential
n
Strong understanding of current WHS/OH&S; legislation and Australian Standards
n
Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
n
Confident dealing with site teams, subcontractors and management
n
Professional and presentable
n
Someone who is proactive, approachable and willing to take ownership
