About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Quality Assistant to join our team at our GMP facility located near Swan Hill in Victoria. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in our quality assurance operations. As a Manufacturing Quality Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our quality control processes and ensuring that our manufacturing operations maintain the highest standards.

This role is essential to our commitment to delivering consistent quality products to our customers, and you will work alongside our quality assurance team to identify, prevent and resolve quality issues.

Key responsibilities

- Conducting routine quality inspections and testing of products throughout the manufacturing process and final product checks before release
- Recording quality data and test results accurately and maintaining detailed documentation
- Identifying non-conformances and quality deviations, and reporting these promptly to supervisory staff
- Supporting the implementation and compliance to standard operating procedures and batch documents
- Assisting with the calibration and maintenance of quality testing equipment
- Liaising with production teams to address quality concerns and support continuous improvement initiatives




- Participating in quality audits and inspections as required
- Providing assistance and support to the operations team in quality processes
- Ensuring compliance with relevant manufacturing and quality assurance regulations and standards

What we're looking for

- A science qualification , or equivalent practical experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when recording data and conducting inspections
- Demonstrated ability to follow procedures and work systematically through quality control processes
- Proficiency with computer systems and the ability to learn new quality management software
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for recording findings and liaising with team members

- Problem-solving abilities and a commitment to identifying opportunities for quality improvement
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisory staff
- A genuine commitment to maintaining high standards and a safety-first mindset

- Prior experience in manufacturing, quality assurance or quality control is highly desirable
