The Role—Mechanical Draftsperson

Job Title: Mechanical Draftsman

Department: Engineering

Location: Brisbane

Reporting to: Department head

Employment Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

· Create detailed mechanical drawings and schematics using CAD Software (SolidWorks, PDM & AutoCAD )

· Consult with Engineers and other professionals to ensure design accuracy

· Maintain drawing standards by following Liverlink's design processes

· Specifying dimensions, materials and procedures for the products





· Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers or client requirements

· Document and maintain technical files for reference and future use

· Demonstrate due diligence in all assigned tasks

What are we looking for

We are seeking a Qualified Mechanical Draftsperson with solid mechanical aptitude and a proven track record of proficiency in SolidWorks. This role reports directly to the head of the Engineering department and requires someone who is a motivated learner and a collaborative team player.

We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude—a person who can adopt their approach to suit different situations and help drive the best outcomes for our team and our customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

· Certificate or diploma in Mechanical drafting

· Proficiency in CAD software (Solidworks, PDM & AutoCad )

· Understanding mechanical systems and manufacturing processes

· Strong attention to detail and communication skills

· Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred—but not limited to
