Hands-on Mechanical Fitter role in Brisbane working across the assembly, repair and disassembly of heavy vehicles and hydraulic systems.

About the role: As Mechanical Fitter, you'll be responsible for the assembly, repair and disassembly of heavy vehicles and hydraulic systems, working as part of a skilled team to keep equipment operating at its best.

Key responsibilities include:

- Assembly and disassembly of heavy vehicles and components
- Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems, including pumps, cylinders and motors
- Fault finding and troubleshooting mechanical and hydraulic issues
- Full strip-downs and rebuilds of heavy vehicle components




- Working to manufacturer specifications and quality standards
- Maintaining a safe and organised work area

What you'll bring:

- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (or similar relevant trade)
- Strong hydraulic systems experience preferred
- Solid fault finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working on heavy vehicles or heavy machinery preferred but not essential
- A safety-focused, reliable approach to your work
