About the role

Aquatec Maxcon is Australia's leading provider of water and wastewater treatment technologies. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter who will be based at our Ipswich workshop and travel to and work on our client's site ensuring quality and productivity objectives are met. You will be key in supporting our overall site objectives.

Key responsibilities

- Install and assemble structural, mechanical, and piping components per engineering drawings and specifications

- Conduct testing (e.g., pressure testing, alignment checks) to ensure system integrity and functionality

- Adhering to safety protocols, risk assessments, and permit systems to ensure a safe, compliant work environment

- Flange management

- Fault finding and troubleshooting across plant systems

About you

- Mechanical fitting trade qualified

- Manual license

- Construction white card

- Flexibility to work away for periods and work overtime

- Working rights within Australia

- Safety-focused with a solid work ethic and a willingness to learn
