Due to significant growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and responsible Trade Assistant to join our expanding team.

Trade Assistant – Passive Fire Protection

About the Role

As a Trade Assistant, you will work alongside our experienced Passive Fire Technicians across multiple sites throughout Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and the Sunshine Coast.

You will assist our senior technicians with all aspects of passive fire protection, including fire-rated penetrations, fire sealing and associated passive fire systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with construction experience who is looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career within the passive fire protection industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the installation and repair of fire-rated materials.
- Install fire-sealing products, fire collars, and fire-rated mastics.
- Assist with the construction of fire-rated enclosures.
- Assist technicians with passive fire protection installations and repairs.
- Register and document passive fire penetrations using our Passive Fire App.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment.
- Work across various commercial and construction sites throughout Brisbane, Gold Coast, and Sunshine Coast.




- Follow all company procedures, project requirements, and WHS standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Minimum 2 years' construction experience.
- Previous experience in the fire protection industry is advantageous.
- Trade or general construction experience.
- A reliable, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- The ability to follow instructions and work effectively with senior technicians.
- A robust commitment to workplace health and safety.
- A valid Construction Card (White Card).
- A valid Australian driver's licence.
- A reliable and registered personal vehicle.
- Valid Australian working rights.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical.
