Client - "We are looking for an A grade commercial finance profile who can operate equally well with the numbers and the people behind them." Our client is a large, market-leading consumer and food business with significant scale across Australia. Operating in a fast-moving, highly commercial environment, the business manages major customer relationships alongside a complex national supply chain.

Role.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this is a senior partnering role supporting some of the organisation’s largest and most strategically important customer accounts.

This is not a role for someone who only wants to sit at a desk and report the numbers. The value will come from understanding the detail, identifying what is driving performance and then building the relationships required to influence what happens next.

Key Responsibilities.

- Partner closely with Key Account Managers and commercial leaders
- Own forecasting,



budgeting and performance reporting
- Analyse revenue, margin, COGS and customer profitability
- Support pricing, customer negotiations and major contracts
- Identify commercial opportunities and performance improvements
- Build business cases around pricing, investment and cost reduction
- Turn complex financial data into clear commercial recommendations

About You.

- Strong commercial finance or business partnering experience
- Background in a leading FMCG or consumer goods finance function
- Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship building skills
- Solid understanding of the detail behind financial performance
- Confident influencing senior stakeholders outside of finance
- Strong modelling, forecasting, analysis and Excel capability
