Tea Tree Gully Gymsports was founded in 1966 and is one of South Australia's largest and most successful gymnastics clubs, with over 1,600 active members. We offer the widest range of gymnastics programs in the state and are committed to our mission:

We are seeking a passionate, organised and customer-focused Member Services Manager to lead our Member Services Team and oversee the operation of our Member Services, Café and Birthday Party programs at our Banksia Park facility.

This is a permanent part-time position of approximately 20–30 hours per week. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing front-of-house operations, supporting the café, coordinating birthday party bookings and delivery, and leading a team committed to creating positive experiences for members and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Team Management

- Lead, mentor and support the Member Services Team
- Coordinate staff rosters and daily staffing requirements
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of Member Services staff
- Monitor team performance and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
- Foster a positive, skilled and customer-focused team culture
- Ensure staff are appropriately trained and supported to deliver high-quality service

Member Experience and Customer Service

- Ensure a high standard of customer service is consistently delivered
- Manage member enquiries, concerns and feedback in a professional manner
- Support the resolution of customer issues and escalated matters
- Develop initiatives to enhance member engagement, retention and satisfaction
- Promote a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members and visitors
- Work collaboratively with coaches, program leaders and management to support member needs

Administration and Systems





- Oversee enrolments, transfers, waitlists and class administration
- Maintain accurate member records and program information
- Monitor and manage daily operational processes within iClassPro and related systems
- Assist with communications to members regarding programs, events and club updates
- Prepare reports and provide administrative support to management as required
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures and child-safe requirements

Café Operations

- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the club café
- Coordinate café staffing and operational requirements
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control
- Ensure food safety, cleanliness and customer service standards are maintained
- Work with management to monitor café performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support the continued growth and success of the café as a valued service for members and visitors

Birthday Party Program

- Oversee the administration and delivery of the club's birthday party program
- Manage party bookings, enquiries and customer communications
- Coordinate staffing and resource requirements for birthday parties
- Ensure parties are delivered to a high standard and provide an exceptional customer experience
- Monitor feedback and identify opportunities to enhance and grow the program

Essential Requirements

- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Provide First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous experience in customer service, administration or team leadership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Desirable Experience

- Experience managing a customer service or administration team
- Experience within a sporting, recreation, hospitality, education or not-for-profit environment
- Experience using membership management software such as iClassPro
- Experience overseeing café, retail or hospitality operations
- Experience coordinating events, functions or birthday parties
- Experience handling customer complaints and conflict resolution
