About the role
Temporary part time opportunity to provide competent, evidence-based, community mental health services as a member of the multidisciplinary mental health team for consumers experiencing First Episode Psychosis. Care is delivered with a focus on planning and provision of clinical care and therapeutic interventions within a recovery and trauma informed framework for young persons.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Deliver meaningful, recovery-focused care through specialist mental health assessments, interventions, and care planning for young people experiencing early psychosis.
- Build strong partnerships with consumers, families, and community services to support holistic and individualised recovery outcomes.
- Develop your clinical expertise while exercising independent judgement and managing complex presentations within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
- Contribute to innovative consumer programs, quality improvement initiatives, and service development that shape the future of mental health care.
- Grow your leadership skills through clinical supervision, professional development opportunities, and mentoring of emerging clinicians and students.
