About the Role

Price's Fabrication Steel is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, fitting and assembling steel components for custom sheds, structures and other agricultural and commercial projects.

The role requires strong fabrication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work from technical drawings and specifications while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Fabricating steel components for sheds, structures and custom projects

- Measuring, marking, cutting and shaping steel materials

- Fitting and assembling fabricated steel components

- Welding and securing components as required





- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

- Operating fabrication machinery, hand tools and power tools

- Inspecting finished products for quality, accuracy and structural integrity

- Repairing, modifying and finishing fabricated components where required

- Maintaining a clean and organised workshop

- Following workplace health and safety procedures

Essential Requirements

- Previous experience as a Metal Fabricator or in a similar fabrication role

- Experience with structural steel fabrication

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements

- Competent welding and fabrication skills

- Ability to use workshop machinery, hand tools and power tools

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Australian work rights

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent

- Relevant welding qualifications or tickets

- Experience fabricating agricultural, commercial or rural steel structures

- Experience working with custom steel fabrication projects
