Water Meter Reader - Perth Northern & Southern Suburbs Do you enjoy working outdoors, staying active and having the independence to manage your own daily schedule? Our client is seeking Water Meter Readers to join their team across the Norther & Southern suburbs of Perth. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, being outdoors, meeting daily targets and providing excellent customer service.

As a Water Meter Reader, you will be responsible for accurately reading water meters across residential, commercial and industrial properties. You'll receive a daily schedule and work independently to complete your allocated meter reads within the required timeframes.

The role is physically active, with approximately 12 - 15 km of walking per day, with some days potentially requiring 15 - 25 km of walking; equivalent to around 20,000 - 30,000 steps per day.

Key Responsibilities

- Accurately read and record water meters
- Follow daily schedules and meet targets
- Walk long distances across various terrains
- Access residential, commercial and industrial properties
- Use a mobile device to record readings
- Provide professional customer service
- Report access issues or concerns
- Follow all safety procedures

About You

- Physically capable of walking 15,000 - 24,000 steps per day
- Comfortable with regular bending, kneeling, squatting and walking




- Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's licence
- Strong numeracy skills and a high level of accuracy
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Able to work independently and meet KPIs
- Valuable communication and customer service skills
- Able to pass a Drug & Alcohol screening
- Willing to obtain a Police Clearance
