We are seeking an experienced Mining Engineer to join the Technical Services team of a high-grade underground gold and antimony operation in Central Victoria.

This role will focus on underground mine planning, design, scheduling and optimisation within a technically challenging narrow-vein environment.

You will work closely with Production Engineering, Geology, Survey and underground operations to develop practical mine plans that maximise ore recovery while controlling dilution and overbreak.

Key Responsibilities

- Underground mine planning and design
- Development and stope design
- Short and medium-term scheduling
- Drill & blast planning and design support
- Narrow-vein mining optimisation
- Mining sequence and extraction planning
- Dilution and recovery analysis
- Production forecasting and performance analysis
- Work closely with geology, survey and underground operations
- Identify opportunities to improve extraction,



productivity and mine performance

About You

You Will Ideally Have

- Degree qualification in Mining Engineering
- Underground hard-rock mining experience
- Experience within narrow-vein mining environments
- Strong understanding of underground drill & blast
- Mine planning, scheduling and design experience
- Stope and development design capability
- Understanding of dilution, recovery and overbreak control
- Experience with Deswik or similar mine planning software
- Robust practical and analytical capability
