We're seeking an experienced AM Dispatch Officer to join our busy Yatala depot. This is a hands-on role that will see you working closely with drivers, forklift operators and depot staff to ensure freight is loaded, dispatched and delivered safely and on time.

Working in a fast-paced transport environment, you'll be responsible for planning daily runs, supporting drivers throughout their shift, coordinating redeliveries and helping keep our operation running smoothly from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and allocate daily delivery runs
- Ensure freight is loaded correctly and dispatched on schedule
- Complete and manage morning dispatch documentation
- Communicate with drivers throughout the day and provide operational support
- Monitor delivery progress and coordinate redeliveries where required
- Work closely with warehouse and forklift teams to ensure freight is ready for departure
- Make adjustments to runs based on freight volumes, delivery locations and customer requirements
- Assist with scanning accuracy,



freight control and general operational administration
- Problem solve and respond to operational issues as they arise
- Support the safe and efficient movement of freight through the depot

About You To be successful in this role, you'll have:

- Previous experience in transport, logistics, dispatch or freight operations
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- The ability to remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to service delivery
- Good computer skills and confidence working with operational systems
- A hands-on approach with a willingness to support the wider team
- Knowledge of the transport and logistics industry

Highly Regarded

- Forklift Licence
- Heavy Vehicle Licence (HR, HC or MC)
- Experience in general freight operations
- Experience allocating drivers or planning delivery routes
