About the Role

Join Hollard's Motor Claims team as a Settlements Consultant, where you'll take ownership of all reported settlement claims from review through to resolution. You'll provide accurate, empathetic support and guidance to third party customers, both individuals and other insurers, while negotiating strong outcomes and keeping claims moving efficiently.

You'll join a national specialist claims team, working closely with the wider motor claims group to deliver an exceptional service for our customers.

This role is open to candidates based in NSW, VIC, QLD or WA.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and settle demands from individuals and other insurers, negotiating the best possible outcome.




- Manage your assigned claims, including high risk and urgent claims, keeping reserves and file notes accurate.
- Meet service levels and turnaround times while delivering prompt, knowledgeable service to customers, suppliers and insurers.
- Build robust working relationships with suppliers and service providers, and resolve complaints within agreed service levels.
- Contribute ideas to improve performance and customer experience as the team rolls out system enhancements and automation.

About You

- Experience in motor claims or recoveries, with a sound understanding of motor insurance practices and strong policy interpretation skills.
- Strong negotiation, judgment and decision making skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication with a genuine customer focus.
- Organised and proactive, comfortable juggling priorities and adapting to change.
- Solid attention to detail and time management skills.
