We are looking for an experienced and reliable Motor Mechanic to join our professional workshop team.

About the Role

As a Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing and repairing a wide range of passenger vehicles while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service.

Key duties include:

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Carry out scheduled and logbook servicing
- Perform engine repairs and general mechanical repairs
- Inspect, repair and replace braking systems
- Repair steering and suspension systems
- Diagnose vehicle performance and drivability issues
- Carry out cooling system and transmission-related repairs
- Perform tyre, wheel and related automotive maintenance
- Test vehicle systems and components following repairs
- Identify worn or defective components and recommend appropriate repairs
- Complete repair and service records accurately
- Ensure all work complies with workshop procedures and safety requirements
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Work effectively with other technicians and workshop staff

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

- Relevant automotive mechanical qualification, such as Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, or equivalent




- Previous experience working as a Motor Mechanic / Automotive Technician
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience servicing and repairing a variety of makes and models
- Good knowledge of engines, brakes, steering, suspension and vehicle electrical systems
- Ability to use electronic diagnostic equipment
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valuable communication and time-management skills
- Current Australian driver licence or ability to obtain one

Experience working with European and German vehicles will be highly regarded.
