Job Description

As a Storeman / Production Labourer, you will be involved in all aspects of warehouse and production operations, including handling timber products, preparing customer orders, receiving stock, assisting with production processes, and maintaining a protected and organised workplace.

n

The successful applicant will become an important part of our operations team, helping ensure products are processed and delivered to our customers to the highest standard.

n

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in completing tasks safely and efficiently, and thrives in a team environment.

Key responsibilities n

n
- Safely operate company machinery, including docking saws, thicknessers and other production equipment.
n
- Receive and unload supplier deliveries, checking stock against delivery documentation.
n
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately.
n
- Accurately tally and record stock movements and customer orders.
n
- Rack and de-rack timber products.
n
- Apply coatings and oils to timber products as required.
n
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse and production environment.
n
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies.
n
- Undertake other reasonable duties as directed by management.

About you nn
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
n
- Experience in warehousing, manufacturing, production, timber, or a similar hands-on industry (preferred)
n
- The ability to perform physically demanding work and manual handling tasks
n
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
n
- A commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
n




- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- A current Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential)
