Proper Goods is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Customer Service & Operations Coordinator to join our Brookvale team.

n

This is a unique role that combines customer service, inventory management, warranty coordination and operational support. You'll be part of a small, high-performing team where no two days are the same, helping ensure our customers receive exceptional service while supporting the flow of premium eyewear brands across Australia and Recent Zealand.

The Role n

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll play a key role across both customer service and operations.

Customer Experience n

Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email

n
- n

Process orders and assist with product enquiries

n
- n

Coordinate warranty claims, repairs and returns

n
- n

Provide after-sales support and follow customer issues through to resolution

n
- n

Maintain accurate customer records and system notes

n
- n

Work closely with our sales team to support customer success

n

Operations & Inventory nn
- n

Receive and process inbound stock deliveries from international suppliers

n
- n

Perform product quality control checks and inventory verification

n
- n

Process supplier returns,



repairs and warranty replacements

n
- n

Assist with stock control and inventory accuracy

n
- n

Support regular stocktakes and inventory audits

n
- n

Coordinate freight and shipment enquiries where required

n
- n

Maintain a clean, organised and efficient operational environment

n

Team Support nn
- n

Cross-train across customer service and inventory functions

n
- n

Provide leave and peak-period coverage for teammates

n
- n

Support continuous improvement initiatives across operations

n

What You'll Bring nn
- n

Previous experience in customer service, operations, logistics, inventory, retail operations or a similar role

n
- n

Excellent communication skills and a professional phone manner

n
- n

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

n
- n

Confidence working with systems, ERPs and inventory software

n
- n

A proactive, solutions-focused approach

n
- n

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy

n
- n

A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Highly Regarded nn

Experience with inventory management or stock control

n
- n

Experience processing returns, warranties or repairs

n
- n

Experience working in wholesale, distribution, retail or e-commerce businesses
