The opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional Customer Service Professional to join our Lilydale GP Practice. With outstanding interpersonal skills, empathy, and emotional intelligence, you will provide a warm and welcoming experience for every patient while delivering exceptional customer service in a caring healthcare community service environment.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this is a Permanent Part-time 0.6 EFT role -8.30am - 4.30pm based at AccessHCLilydale.Our workplace culture is vibrant, and we offer opportunities for career progression, work life balance and flexible working.

What you will be doing Key Responsibilities
Candidates must possess excellent organisational skills, great attention to detail and the ability to provide efficient administrative support to the medical team and provide customers with information about the services and activities offered by AccessHC. - Assist customers to connect with our services directly or by referring them to the appropriate team
- Provide administrative support to the team and maintain strict confidentiality
- Arrange and co-ordinate interpreting/translating services when required
- Book and rescheduling appointments for customers attending our premises in person
- Collect and processing payments and claims for services delivered
- Ability to working across Lilydale and Belgrave locations
About youThe skills and experience you will bring to this role as the successful candidate you will have: Key Selection Criteria
- A passion to deliver an exceptional customer service engagement with all customers
- Experience in a customer-facing receptionist roles, such as medical, retail or hospitality
- Engaging warm personality with the ability to quickly build rapport
- Emotional intelligence and passion for making a difference in the community
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Solid problem solving and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to relate to people from a diverse range of social, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite & and other relevant software applications
- Best Practice, TRAKCare are highly desirable
Compliance Requirements:
- National Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Evidence of the right to work in Australia and a valid Driver’s Licence.
