Flexible Hours | High Earning Potential | Work Across Multiple Residential Houses

We are looking for motivated and reliable Youth Workers / Care Workers to join our team. You'll have access to a wide range of residential houses across Cairns and Far North Queensland. Flexible shift options across weekdays, weekends, evenings, and sleepover shifts. Full sleepover availability is preferred; however, we can be flexible. Increased availability means more shift opportunities.

About the Role

You will be supporting Children and Young People in Residential Care Facilities by providing safety, stability, and high-quality care. Your responsibilities will include:

- Caring for young children within Residential Facilities
- Attending to schooling and medical appointment needs
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive household environment
- Liaising closely with Case Managers
- Managing your own time, schedules, and routines
- A variety of shifts to choose from, including sleepovers and awake shifts, maximising income

What You'll Need

- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including sleepovers
- Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work independently
- Open Australian Driver's Licence, potentially provisional P2
- Subcontracting through an ACN company.



We can help you set up and start your own business
- Min Certification: Cert IV in Child, Youth & Family or similar, or willingness to obtain. Candidates may commence work immediately whilst obtaining their Cert IV
- Safe, reliable car suitable for transporting children
- Blue Card and Working with Children mandatory checks
- Provide First Aid certification
- Onboarding - willingness to undertake Information Sessions before commencement
- Insurances - Indemnity, Public Liability, Personal Accident & Comprehensive Vehicle
- Valid Australian work rights or appropriate work visa
