Casual Front Office and Houskeeping posisition

Club Macquarie is seeking to appoint a reliable and self‑motivated person to join our team in a flexible all‑rounder role at our 36 room Macquarie 4 Star motel. This is a Casual position and will encompass both front office reception duties and general housekeeping, depending on the operational needs of the property.

Key responsibilities

- Front Office - Welcome guests and manage check‑in and check‑out processes
- Front Office - manage reservations, guest enquiries, emails and telephone calls
- Front Office - process payments and maintain accurate guest records
- Front Office - provide local area information and deliver friendly, skilled guest service
- Front Office - complete general reception and administrative tasks
- General cleaning and room checks
- Highly visual approach to the property's cleanliness and maintenance
- Unpacking and storage of linen in an organised and efficient manner
- Assisting cleaners with the preparation of guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces to a high standard as assigned




- Restocking guest amenities and room attendant trolleys ensuring efficient servicing of rooms
- Monitoring and promptly reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns
- Working efficiently to meet daily room requirements

About you

- Previous experience in accommodation; Front Desk and Housekeeping departments
- A genuine passion for customer service and creating positive experiences
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Positive energy and physical fitness for a hands‑on role
- Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet daily schedules
- Availability 7 days between the hours of 8am and 8pm
