Music Teacher - 12-month contract commencing Term 1 2027

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated, experienced and dedicated Music Teacher in an established and successful music department.

The Trinity College Music Department has outstanding classroom, instrumental and choral music programs. The classroom program is based on the Kodaly Concept. All classes and rehearsals occur in excellent facilities including spacious rehearsal rooms.

The Music Teacher is responsible for:

- Teaching classroom music, Years 7-10 and potentially ATAR Music
- Conducting choral and/or instrumental ensembles
- Assist in the programming and organisation of concert performances and other cocurricular events

Applicants must be energetic and cutting-edge individuals who are strongly team oriented and committed to supporting the Catholic ethos of the College and its co-curricular activities. Successful applicants will also be required to participate in Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) and Catholic Education Western Australia Limited (CEWA Ltd) professional formation and accreditation processes. Essential Criteria





- A strong commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education and a willingness to promote and support Catholic values within the Trinity College community.
- A minimum four-year tertiary qualification, including appropriate educational qualifications.
- Current and full registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA).
- Hold, or be willing to obtain prior to commencement, a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance.
- A commitment to professional collaboration and contributing positively to the wider life of the College.
