About the role The purpose of this role is to create and deliver high-quality printed, digital and graphic content to support the work of the CFMEU National Office and divisional branches. The role works across a broad range of communications, ensuring visual materials are engaging, accessible and consistent with CFMEU values, priorities and brand standards. The role also provides design and creative support across the union, maintains visual consistency across national and branch communications, contributes to the development of communication resources and templates, and supports the effective delivery of key organisational activities and initiatives.

Key responsibilities

- Produce high-quality visual content across print and digital platforms that promotes union activities, campaigns and amplifies member engagement.
- Design and produce onsite materials, including posters, flyers, brochures, banners and signage.
- Provide design advice and creative support to National Office staff and branch representatives.
- Create graphics, digital assets and branding materials for websites, social media, digital advertising and campaigns.
- Ensure consistency of the CFMEU's visual identity,



branding and design standards across national and branch communications.
- Monitor the performance of digital content and provide regular reporting, insights and recommendations to improve engagement and reach.
- Develop, maintain and update branded templates, design resources and toolkits for use by National Office and divisional branches.
- Support the production and design of the CFMEU Journal and other publications.
- Source, edit and manage photography and imagery for campaigns, communications and events.
- Develop and implement design elements from the national content strategy, aligned with the CFMEU's industrial and priorities.
