NDIS Domestic Assistance Worker

Urban Crew Services – Melbourne

Casual | 10-14 hours/week | $32-$36.80/hour + super

Urban Crew Services is looking for a reliable, professional and caring Domestic Assistance Worker to provide household services to NDIS participants across.

This is primarily a domestic assistance position. It does not involve personal care, medication administration or complex disability support unless separately trained and agreed.

About the role

You will work independently in participants' homes, providing consistent and high-quality domestic assistance while treating every participant and their home with dignity, respect and professionalism.

Typical duties include

- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Cleaning bathrooms, toilets and kitchens
- Dusting and wiping surfaces
- Changing bed linen
- Laundry and basic household assistance where requested
- General household cleaning and hygiene
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely
- Following each participant's agreed service requirements
- Completing brief service/shift notes
- Identifying and reporting hazards, incidents or participant concerns
- Communicating promptly regarding delays, cancellations or service issues
- Maintaining participant privacy and confidentiality

You should

- Be dependable and punctual

- Have strong attention to detail




- Communicate professionally with participants and families
- Respect personal boundaries and confidentiality
- Be physically capable of normal domestic cleaning duties
- Have reliable transport and a current driver's licence
- Be willing to travel between participant homes
- Have Australian working rights

Previous professional cleaning, disability, aged-care or community-service experience is highly regarded.

Required / preferred checks

Successful candidates will be required to hold or obtain, where applicable:
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You
- Current driver's licence
- Relevant right-to-work documentation

A current First Aid and CPR certificate is highly regarded. A Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is desirable but not essential for this cleaning-focused role.

A Working With Children Check may be required where services involve children.
