About the Role CatholicCare Central Queensland is seeking an experienced NDIS Plan Management Team Leader to lead our NDIS Plan Management team and oversee the delivery of high-quality, compliant and participant-focused services.

This is a key leadership role responsible for supporting the performance and development of the NDIS Plan Management team, ensuring strong financial and operational practices, maintaining compliance with NDIS requirements and identifying opportunities to grow and strengthen the service.

The NDIS Plan Management Team Leader will be responsible for:

- Leading and supporting the NDIS Plan Management team to achieve performance targets and deliver high-quality participant services;
- Overseeing NDIS Plan Managed participants and ensuring plan funds are managed appropriately and in accordance with relevant requirements;
- Ensuring compliance with NDIS legislation, rules, operational guidelines, business requirements and applicable Practice Standards;
- Overseeing processes associated with onboarding current participants, processing participant invoices, claims and statements;
- Monitoring financial and service performance, identifying trends and addressing issues to support the sustainability of the service;
- Developing and continuously improving systems, processes and internal controls;
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with participants, their representatives, Support Coordinators, providers and other stakeholders;
- Leading, coaching and developing team members to support capability,



performance and professional growth; and
- Developing and implementing business development activities to promote and grow You Matter Plan Management.

The NDIS Plan Management service is funded through Plan Management services and operates against defined performance and financial targets. This role will play an important part in supporting the continued growth, quality and sustainability of the service.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting, bookkeeping, financial management, business or a related discipline, and/or substantial relevant experience in NDIS Plan Management or financial services;
- Relevant qualifications, training or professional experience required to meet applicable NDIS Practice Standards;
- Membership of a relevant professional body, where required for the role; and
- Current unrestricted C class driver's licence.

Core Competencies The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- Substantial knowledge of the NDIS framework, including relevant legislation, rules, operational guidelines and requirements applicable to NDIS Plan Management;
- Demonstrated experience in NDIS Plan Management, including interpreting NDIS Plans, managing participant budgets and understanding claiming and payment requirements;
- Strong knowledge of financial management, compliance, internal controls and risk management;
- Demonstrated experience leading, supervising and developing a team, including managing performance, capability,



workload and service outcomes;
- High-level analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse financial and service data, identify issues and make evidence-based decisions;
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and continuously improve processes and systems;
- Strong change management and operational improvement skills;
- Highly developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders;
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality participant service and the ability to resolve issues professionally and effectively;
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet regulatory, operational and reporting requirements; and
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, and experience using relevant financial and client management systems.
