In this role, you'll:

Working within Transport's Network Management and Development team, you'll apply your traffic engineering, road safety and transport planning expertise to help shape the future operation and development of Sydney's transport network.

Working at the Centre of transport decision-making, you'll balance road safety, network performance, public transport, active transport, freight, land use and community needs across some of Sydney's most significant transport corridors and precincts.

You'll work on a diverse range of challenges including road safety investigations, transport impact assessments, speed zone reviews, network performance analysis and development assessment. Working closely with councils, developers, government agencies and communities, you'll help balance competing priorities and deliver practical, evidence-based transport outcomes.

About you

You will bring

- Experience in traffic engineering, road safety, network management and transport planning.




- Strong capability in undertaking technical traffic, transport and road safety assessments.
- Experience applying analytical and evidence-based approaches to solve complex transport and network challenges.
- The ability to balance technical, stakeholder, community and government considerations to achieve practical and integrated outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including preparation of technical reports, business cases, briefing material and project documentation.
