About the Role

RMSI is looking for an experienced Provisioning Engineer to support service provisioning, activation, migration and troubleshooting across Core IP, IP/MPLS, Carrier Ethernet and Optical Transport (DWDM/OTN) networks. The role involves hands-on configuration of carrier-grade network equipment and coordination with Design, NOC, Operations and Vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Provision, configure, activate and validate telecom services across IP/MPLS, Carrier Ethernet and DWDM/OTN networks.
- Implement network configurations on Juniper, Cisco and Nokia platforms.
- Support service activation, migrations, capacity upgrades and technology refresh activities.
- Prepare configuration scripts, implementation procedures, validation and rollback plans.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting and post-implementation validation.
- Coordinate with Design, NOC, Operations, Field Engineers, customers and vendors.
- Maintain provisioning, inventory and network records in OSS/NMS/EMS systems.
- Support planned after-hours/shift-based network changes and contribute to automation and process improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4–8 years of hands-on experience in telecom network provisioning/service activation.
- Strong experience with Juniper MX, Cisco and Nokia devices.




- Experience with SecureCRT, WinSCP and configuration scripting.
- DWDM provisioning experience with Nokia PSS , including NFM-P/NFM-T.
- Knowledge of IP/MPLS, fibre and transport networks.
- Experience with Azure/AWS networking and tunnel creation.
- Exposure to OSS systems, NBN Portal, One Manage, TEMIP and Cisco Prime.
- Strong troubleshooting, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts and after-hours change windows.
- Experience working in onshore/offshore delivery models.

Education Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science or a related engineering discipline. Diploma holders with robust relevant experience may also be considered.

Preferred: NCE-CE / NCE-TX certifications and experience in IP/MPLS, fibre and transport provisioning.
