Temporary full time opportunity to deliver senior level clinical neurophysiology services as a member of a multidisciplinary team to clients of the Neurology Department at RBWH, other service areas of RBWH and also other Metro North Hospital and Health Service facilities, across a broad range of clinical areas using evidence-based practice which may incorporate involvement in research.

About the role

Temporary full time opportunity to apply senior level clinical knowledge of clinical neurophysiology within the Neurology Department as part of a multi-disciplinary team in accordance with well-established clinical protocols and prescribed professional/ethical standards.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

- Apply professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routine clinical practice, based on valid and reliable evidence for clinical neurophysiology investigations.
- Contribute to the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols that support the continuum of care. In addition, contribute when required to the development and delivery of education programs for pre-entry level students and less experienced Neurophysiology Scientists.
- Contribute to clinical research activities with the neurophysiology work unit with scope for clinical importance to clinical neurophysiology and Queensland Health.




- Provide general clinical advice with regards to neurophysiology to professional and operational supervisors and relevant service managers regarding service delivery, equipment and technology relating to Neurophysiology.
- Liaise with patients and their families, other health professionals, supervisors, students and researchers as required.
